LeadDesk develops call center software for both outbound and inbound sales. RubiqCloud’s integration with LeadDesk makes it easy to add customers and leads from RubiqCloud to calling lists and telemarketing campaigns in LeadDesk. The integration also enables you to respond to blacklist events in LeadDesk and carry out the necessary actions in RubiqCloud.

The LeadDesk integration connects to RubiqCloud’s existing and extensive event framework. This means that any event in RubiqCloud – including events from any integrated system – can trigger a person being added to a calling list or telemarketing campaign in LeadDesk.
Everything is configured through a simple point-and-click setup in RubiqCloud, where you can see all available calling lists in LeadDesk as well as the data LeadDesk requires for the people being added.
From there, you simply select which data from RubiqCloud should automatically be sent to LeadDesk each time. Once the event is activated, every occurrence of that event will automatically add the person to the relevant calling list in LeadDesk. And that is not all. RubiqCloud can also remove people from calling lists.

This is useful, for example, when a lead withdraws their telemarketing consent. In RubiqCloud, that event can be configured to immediately remove the person from all calling lists they may appear on – before the call is made.

The LeadDesk integration can also send two types of data back from LeadDesk to RubiqCloud. The first type is information about people who ask not to be called. When this is registered in LeadDesk, it automatically triggers an event in RubiqCloud. Using the point-and-click interface, you can define what should happen automatically in each case.

For example, you can configure RubiqCloud to automatically withdraw the person’s telemarketing consent, or even withdraw all of their consents. It only needs to be set up once.

The second type of data that can be retrieved from LeadDesk and sent back to RubiqCloud concerns the outcome of each call. RubiqCloud can, for example, read how long a call lasted, who made the call, whether the person was reached, and which products may have been sold to them. This data is linked to the person’s timeline in RubiqCloud and can be used to build audiences for further marketing activities. At the same time, data about completed sales from LeadDesk can also be used to score the different telemarketing sources.

This makes it easy to see in RubiqCloud which sources perform best and provide the highest conversion from lead to customer.

Examples of how LeadDesk works with RubiqCloud

  • When a potential customer interacts with one of your touchpoints or lead sources, RubiqCloud can use the LeadDesk integration to immediately add the lead to a calling list in LeadDesk, ready for a member of your telemarketing team to make contact.
  • When a person withdraws their telemarketing consent, RubiqCloud can automatically remove them from all calling lists immediately. This helps avoid wasting valuable time in the telemarketing team and prevents you from calling someone who no longer wants to be contacted.
  • When a person asks not to be called and is added to the Do Not Call list in LeadDesk, RubiqCloud detects it immediately and lets you configure what should happen automatically, such as removing telemarketing consent or withdrawing all consents. The event can also be forwarded automatically to other systems.

The technology behind the LeadDesk integration

The LeadDesk integration is configured like any other app in RubiqCloud, and only three settings are required to get started:

  • Register a LeadDesk API client secret in RubiqCloud. This can be found in LeadDesk and entered directly in the RubiqCloud user interface.
  • Specify the phone number fields in RubiqCloud that should be used for synchronization with LeadDesk.
  • Specify the fields LeadDesk expects to receive data in. These are the fields that must be populated in the events configured afterwards.

Once these few and simple steps have been completed, the LeadDesk integration is ready to use, and RubiqCloud will communicate with the LeadDesk API in real time. The LeadDesk integration can also be configured for two-way communication, meaning RubiqCloud can receive data back from LeadDesk.

This is done through direct database access to the MySQL database behind LeadDesk, and everything needed to configure this is available directly in the RubiqCloud user interface.
